A morning spent giving back
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' staff is all about helping kids across North America, but yesterday we decided to help those beyond our continental confines.
A busload of us got to spend the morning assembling hygiene packs and medical supply kits, sorting and packing much-needed blankets, and repairing a whole list of stuff for shipment to developing countries. Globus Relief is behind this international aid, and we were touched by the many stories of how needed these donated items. Many people will walk hours for the most basic of supplies that our hands were making possible.
We were also inspired by the volunteer network Globus Relief utlizies in our HQ city of Salt Lake, and look forward to returning to make an even bigger impact for the larger global community. Here are some photos and a bit more info about Globus:
To making a change at home and around the world!

A heart-whelming blog knowing that you do not help only those children in North America but you decided to cross over the coastline. Bless you more with your upcoming activities.
